Frequently asked questions

What happens if I do not allow it?
Nothing. Your screen is not even captured until you allow it. Capture starts after consent, not before.
How do I end the session?
Press the stop button in the window. Closing the window also ends the connection.
What if someone else gets my access code?
The code alone is not enough; whoever connects still needs your approval. A new code is generated every time you open the app, so it is not a permanent password.
Is the session recorded?
No screenshots or video are captured. Only the session itself is logged: who connected, when, and for how long.
Windows warned me about the file I downloaded. What should I do?
Windows may not recognise the file yet, because it is not signed with a code signing certificate. Verify the SHA-256 checksum on the download page; if it matches, the file came from us and has not been altered.
