01 Parties

These terms apply between LAICOS Bilişim Yazılım ve Bilgi Sistemleri İthalat İhracat Limited Şirketi (hereafter LAICOS) and the person who downloads or uses the SessiONN application (hereafter the user). Downloading and using the application means accepting these terms.

02 What the service is

SessiONN is a remote support tool that opens a computer's screen and input control to another person at a distance, with the permission of the person using that computer. The service is limited to establishing and carrying the connection; the content of the technical support given by the technician is outside the scope of these terms.

03 Consent

Connecting to a computer requires the consent of the person at that computer every single time. This consent step cannot be disabled. Unattended access is enabled only by the device owner setting it up themselves and can be revoked at any moment.

Attempting to connect to someone else's computer without their knowledge and consent is prohibited and creates legal liability.

04 Prohibited use

The following are strictly prohibited and result in the account being closed:

• Obtaining access by deceiving or frightening people or by concealing your identity (this includes fraud and fake technical support calls).
• Using the application for covert monitoring, spying or personal surveillance.
• Using or attempting to obtain someone else's access code without permission.
• Using the application to distribute malware, steal data or gain unauthorised access.
• Reverse engineering the application, distributing a modified build, or imitating the brand.
• Placing automated or excessive load on the service.

05 The user's responsibility

It is the user's responsibility to read the access code out only to a technician they called themselves and know. Do not read the code to a stranger who called you. LAICOS is not responsible for connections established at the request of people presenting themselves as a bank, a public authority or a technology company.

Everything visible on screen during a session can be seen by the other party. Closing sensitive material before the session starts is the user's responsibility.

06 Pricing

SessiONN is currently free to use. If paid plans come into effect, their conditions will be announced in advance; use already made will not be charged retroactively.

07 Availability

Uninterrupted service is not guaranteed. Outages may occur due to maintenance, infrastructure failure, network problems or exceptional circumstances. No service level commitment is given for free use.

08 Limitation of liability

LAICOS is not responsible for what the connecting person does on the computer, for data deleted or altered, or for the consequences of those actions. The decision to allow a connection rests with the user.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, no liability is accepted for indirect damages, loss of profit or loss of data. This limitation does not cover intent or gross negligence. Your rights under consumer legislation are reserved.

09 Intellectual property

The SessiONN software, its name, logo and interface are the property of LAICOS. Downloading the application grants a limited, non transferable right of use for personal or business purposes; it does not transfer ownership of the software.

10 Closing an account

A user may close their account at any time. LAICOS may suspend or close an account in the event of a breach of these terms; in serious cases (fraud, unauthorised access) this is done without prior notice.

11 Changes

These terms may be updated. Material changes are announced on this page before they take effect. Continuing to use the service after a change constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

12 Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye. The courts and enforcement offices of Istanbul (Kadıköy) have jurisdiction. For users acting as consumers, the right to apply to consumer arbitration committees and consumer courts is reserved.
